Sennheiser reaffirms its strategy of focusing on its professional audio business. The Consumer Electronics business that was previously part of the Sennheiser Group has been fully transferred to Sonova Holding AG – one of the leading providers of hearing solutions – effective March 1, 2022. The Prolight + Sound Guangzhou show was a vibrant edition attracting 52,699 visitors physically and garnering 176,071 views online. A total of 1,041 exhibitors took part in the exhibition.

Prolight + Sound Guangzhou Gives Fairgoers the Inside Track on the Industry’s Future

The curtains have fallen on another vibrant edition of Prolight + Sound Guangzhou (PLSG), which celebrated its 20th anniversary edition from 25 – 28 February. The fair continued its upward trajectory in terms of new product offerings, with participants noting a stronger emphasis on digitalisation and system integrations at the show. A major highlight was the fair’s ‘Tech meets culture’ theme, which received praise from the industry for showcasing the next level of installations of audio and visual equipment for all types of venues and buildings. With a total of 52,699 visitors filtering through the exhibition halls during the four days, the fairground was busy with business meetings as buyers networked with 1,041 exhibitors.

Zytronic Gives Taiwanese Integrated Display Manufacturer the Magic Touch

Advanced display manufacturer Innolux had been searching for different haptic solutions for its touch displays to enrich the user experience. Until the company engaged with Zytronic’s Taiwanese representative Chris Su, the Innolux engineering team had yet to achieve a suitable tactile solution for their rugged touch displays designed for self-service kiosks and other public displays. Following the engagement, Innolux created an innovative multi-haptic control panel, and Zytronic provided the missing tactile dimension to the touchscreen.
