FIRST WORDS

A Very Eventful Year
We have come to the fag end of yet another eventful year. Much before the COVID-19 greeted us in late 2019, we had all hoped 2020 would usher in a perfect vision for the AV industry. (20/20 stands for perfect vision, they say!). While the year showed us, what it had in store for us, 2021 notched up 1 over. Having said that, it’s also been fulfilling that the challenges have only made us more resolute and inventive to make our way to future. The way the industry turned up, with its project executions, and entrepreneurial explorations stand testimony.

Concerns notwithstanding, we end the year with a spirited hope but a caution for everyone. Wishing you a very promising 2022.

Ram Bhavanashi, Editor, India and Middle East
