FIRST WORDS

THE SHOW MUST GO ON….
So they said, and so they had been doing, over the decades. It does seem to be happening in audio-visual industry too, globally, since the COVID-19 pandemic began affecting the industry dynamics. More so with Indian AV industry in particular during what is said to be the ‘second wave!’

The lockdown phases might not have deterred the spirit so much, but the second wave does appears to have done, to some cognizable extent. However, the brighter side of the otherwise gloomy phase has been that the AV activity hasn’t stopped.

Rather, there have been some very very significant developments in that a few remarkable installations happened, new products launched, and key corporate initiatives took place, besides key positional movements of individuals- all signifying the long-trusted and practiced philosophy: The Show Must Go On.

In this issue of SI India Enews, we present a summation of all that- in brief.

With a heavy but firm heart of solidarity with Indian AV industry for standing strong amid tough times…
