InfoComm Asia 2024 – Asia’s International Pro AV Exhibition – Returns to Thailand

The 4th edition of InfoComm Asia—Asia’s International Pro AV Exhibition –returns to Bangkok with an estimated 180 exhibiting companies featuring 280 brands from over 15 countries, spread across 16,905 sqm in three halls, signifying a 40% overall growth compared to the 2023 edition. Country representation includes Australia, China, India, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, the United States, and more, including 74 first-time exhibitors, highlighting the show’s appeal to emerging players and start-ups alongside major global industry names.

AVnTech4Church KL Event Meets its Objectives Impressively

The inaugural AVnTech4Church event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, successfully met its objectives. The two-day event, held on May 14-15, 2024, at Holy Trinity Bukit Bintang Church, attracted church delegates from 55 organizations across Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines. Robert Soo, who has regularly held training and talks for the church community in the region, helmed the presentation for the two days. His past experience of being a Technical Director and Worship Pastor and his current work scope of providing consultancy services for commercial spaces, educational institutes and churches shone through as he engaged the audience with his expertise, experience sharing, and wit.

B&C Speakers Make Significant Distribution Change in China

The B&C Group have formally announced that they will take direct control of all B&C Speaker product distribution in China, effective July 1, 2024. The B&C Group established a new 6,000-square-meter manufacturing and distribution facility in Dongguan, China (Zhongtang Town) after purchasing Eminence Speaker’s Chinese production facility in the fall of 2023. All factory works were recently moved to a new building located just a few
kilometres from the original Eminence location.

Temasek Polytechnic (TP), established in 1990, is a leading higher education institution in Singapore. It offers 36 full-time diploma courses in various fields and over 40 part-time courses up to advanced diploma level. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, TP classrooms typically used a projector and wireless microphone. In response to the pandemic, TP adopted HyFlex learning, allowing for in-person, remote, and on-demand lessons. To support this shift, TP partnered with Digiworz Pte Ltd for AV system design and integration, utilizing Extron's equipment for system switching, distribution, control, and audio to implement the necessary upgrades.
