FIRST WORDS

Touring into New Normal with AV
Yes, it truly feels like India is affirmatively transitioning into the ‘new normal’ world- rather touring via AV. The resilience that had always been there with our rank and file appears to have turned into rejuvenation, particularly in the last few months. As the fears of pandemic continue to fade away, some very incredible ‘audio-visual’ activity has been touring the contours of AV.

I’m particularly fascinated by kind of newer and immersive ways of AV being employed to promote tourism vis-à-vis spread and strengthen the country’s cultural vibes. We bring one of those impressive works via our Video of the Month this time. Watch out for more, as we will roll down more of such wonderments in the coming months.

I notice the Event AV is coming back with confidence and commitment as has been showcased by some nice events around the country. Some have even traversed nearby foreign landscapes in pursuit of AV enthusiasm. That is another nerve of the verve.

Products, Processes, and Pacts continue to promulgate from across the AV spectra- which is another reassuring potion to pursue the already happening new normal world of living with technology.

VIDEO OF THE MONTH: Connecting with Chitrakoot Via AV

Chitrakoot (in Uttar Pradesh) is a place that is steeped in rich cultural antiquity, having been the geographical path that Lord Rama trod for eleven long years of His exile, before He moved to Dandakaranya (in Madhya Pradesh/Maharashtra).
One thought/reference of the place springs so much connect with the place, and its place in the identity of the country and people inhabiting it.

Imagine visiting the place, and watching all that unfolding in front of you via digital technology employing sophisticated audio-visual solutions. Touch-screen panels; edge-blended laser projection system; 270-degree immersive projection; holographic projection on pepper scrim – on the river waters – and more!

It does create a vibe. A new verve, and a nerve for one’s identity.

That’s exactly what the Department of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh sought to do. In its pursuit of promoting tourism in the State, it explored the technology domain for an inviting and immersive story-telling mechanism that could primarily attract people, and then create the essential connect.
