Made-In-India AV: Is it in the Making?
The biggest and latest good thing to happen to Indian AV industry is, by default, the in-person event of InfoComm India 2022. A very energetic rejuvenation of the industry spirits for a very aspirational future. What appeared more energetic for me, though, was the measurable number of Made-In-India AV brands taking the centre stage. A great visual for people longing for making of solutions with indigenous expertise. The variety of solutions the Made-in-India community demonstrated on the show floor, almost throwing a challenge to the hitherto dominating MNCs was indeed a very exiting take-away from the show.

If not anything else, thirty months of disruption in the industry processes, and more so component supplies from China might have been a contributing factor for companies take up the cause of the spirited Made-in-India thinking. Whether or not it is, if it can act as a wake-up call for other aspiring OEMs? I hope it does.
Clearly, that’s our Lead Story this time. We have more feeds on the concept to follow up. Read to relish all that.

Yes. The coming back of InfoComm India earlier this month brought along with it that big aspirational element which is certainly bigger than the hitherto known order of the regulars.
